Doilie Cupcake Skirt

Everything about this picture is sweetness! I love the lace peeking out from beneath that fluffy frosting, I love the glittery sprinkles, and I think the rhinestones gave it just a little oomph to drive the girlie look home. The "skirt" is surprisingly simple to make and these would make a BIG impact on a desert table. Find the tutorial from No Fuss Fabulous here.

White Chocolate Doily Pops

These delicate doilies are made of piped white chocolate and look so sweet and feminine. I can image them as wedding favors or as the goodies at a girly bridal shower. As a bonus, the technique isn't as complicated as the results look so you get a lot of impact for your effort. Find the full tutorial (and more lovely pictures) here at Mega Crafty.

Naughty Bachelorette Cookies

If you're a bit sensitive, avert your eyes. Sugar cookies have never been so racy!

These saucy little cookies are easy to decorate, don't require a cookie cutter you won't use again, and just plain make me chuckle. They would make fantastic favors at a bridal shower or bachelorette party and would be a cheeky addition to a getaway bag for the bride and groom.

Check out the tutorial by Shelley of How Does She? and some more cute color combos here.

DIY Wednesday- Fruit Ice Cubes

These ice cubes with frozen fruit slices serve multiple purposes. The fruit adds a unique flavor to whatever drink you serve. By carefully selecting your fruits or fresh herbs you can add your colors to make basic water or Sprite anything but boring.

DIY Wednesday- Vanilla Bean Doughnuts

DIY Wednesday- Sprinkle Monograms

I love these clever monogram cupcake toppers from Little Birdie Secrets. For a more formal version, I'm imagining white frosting and colored sugar sprinkles or solid colored nonpareils (like these). I think this would be a beautiful and unique addition if you're going to have cupcakes in lieu of a traditional wedding cake.

DIY Wednesday- Mini Cherry Cheesecakes

If the mini cobblers from last week weren't quite your style, please consider these Mini Cherry Cheesecakes from Bakerella.
I've actually made these for a party celebrating a friend's engagement and they were incredibly easy, super tasty, and totally stole all the attention away from the other foods there. If the red doesn't "go" with your whole color scheme, get creative with the topping (I topped mine with a chocolate dipped strawberry and some drizzled white chocolate to go with her pink, black, and white wedding). Find the recipe here.

DIY Wednesday- Single Serving Cobblers

This one is especially for you DeeLovely Brides planning a wedding for this fall- Let me show you the cutest, most brilliant favor/dessert idea I have seen in a LONG while. Feast your eyes on these individual servings of blueberry cobbler.
I found this idea at Not Martha. She made these for a bake sale, but I think they'd be fabulous at a wedding. I've never seen anything like this done before and it'd be sure to be a hit! Find the instructions here.

DIY Wednesday- The Infamous Cake Pops

These gorgeous cake pops from the oh-so-talented Bakerella just about make my day. They might be a bit too intense of a project for just you to take on so get the whole crew involved. They're a bit time consuming to make, but I think they're well worth the effort!
P.S. If you haven't experienced Bakerella's site yet, I highly recommend that you RUN there immediately. Go on, click here... you know you want to.

Pretty Petits Fours

Go ahead my DeeLovely Brides... take a moment to soak in the gorgeousness.

I found these little lovelies over at I Am Baker. I think I need to see these at a wedding in that bride's colors, because really- you could do any color scheme with these! Want to guess what she used to make them a little less work? Oreo cakesters. She wrapped them in fondant and topped them with sweetness and even better- she wrote a whole tutorial here.
